Your Vibe and Your Tribe
One of the biggest decisions we make in life is who we choose to spend our time with. The people that we surround ourselves with shape a huge part of who are and influence our level of success and happiness. Be around people who motivate you, inspire you and encourage you to do better.
Your inner circle should be made up of people you can rely on and trust. When we are going through hard times we need to know that we can turn to these people to help pull us through and overcome any struggles. It makes it much easier to get through a difficult time if you have the right people by your side. Good friends make the hard times easier.
It’s important to have people around you that are travelling a similar journey. We need to be around people who share our values. Our values are important to us and we need to be with people who are like-minded and respect who we are. You'll know that you are around the right people when you feel that you can completely be yourself. The people who love you will embrace your good qualities and accept your flaws. They won't let you feel uncomfortable for simply being you.
I believe that we have different friends for different times in our lives. As we are constantly moving on, we meet new people who will pass through different stages of our lives. You may leave some of these friends behind when that chapter of your life comes to an end whilst some of them will stay with you through into the next chapter. Some friendships have a deeper meaning. These types of friends are the ones that you don't need to be in constant contact with but know that when you need them most they will always be here.
We must acknowledge the difference between the people who occupy a permanent position in our circle and those who never intended to stay. As we change, so may our circle. Its okay to adjust your circle when you feel that the people you are surrounded by are bringing you down and no longer match your vibe.
Your circle is your support system. The people in your circle will be with you through the ups and the downs and always know just what to say. As you grow up you realise it becomes less important to have more friends and more important to have real ones. Choose your tribe wisely. Pick quality over quantity, always.
