The Health Benefits of Drinking Water
Drinking water is probably the best nourishment you can give your body. Water is free, easily accessible and has enormous health benefits. Two litres of water a day should be your minimum. I often find it easier drinking this amount of water with a straw. I use my litre-sized flask filled up twice. I drink a litre in the morning and then another litre about 2 o'clock in the afternoon. I struggle a lot from low energy levels whilst at university but I find drinking loads of water keeps me feeling fresh! If you make a point of drinking 2 litres of water a day you will start to feel completely energised. It’s so important to stay hydrated! Sometimes I like to slice up some lemon or lime and put that into my glass of water. It’s so refreshing! Adding a citrus fruit to your water is a great way to get yourself drinking more water and to give your body the nourishment it requires.
