Your Attitude Determines Your Direction
Our mind is incredibly powerful. When we start to fill it with positive thoughts our lives will start to change. Positive thoughts reflect in the events that happen in our lives. If we have positive thoughts we will experience positive events. Positivity is a choice. It is a choice that we have to make in our lives. Positivity and negativity are directions that will lead to two very different outcomes.
Positive thinking is about approaching all situations in life in a more positive and productive manner. A positive person strives for health, happiness and success.
How you start your day usually sets the tone for the rest of your day. Begin with a small positive thought. Think about what you are grateful for and all the reasons you have to be happy and positive. Being aware of all the things that we are grateful for makes us more appreciative.
Overthinking is one of the greatest causes of our unhappiness. Keep your mind occupied with positive thoughts and off the things that don’t help you. Negative thoughts drain us and such thoughts stop us from being in the present moment. Worrying doesn’t change anything. It is a waste of perfectly good energy and only serves to take away today’s peace. For a positive person the past stays in the past. A positive person believes that the future can and will be better than the present. They believe that it is only them who can make it this way.
Optimistic people live a healthier and happier lifestyle. They always anticipate that the best is going to happen. A positive outlook enables us to cope with stressful situations. A positive person believes that they can overcome any obstacles. A bad and negative attitude stops us from progressing. It keeps us stationary in life. Believe that you can overcome anything. The power of our thoughts shape our lives and the events that happen in our lives. When thinking about the future visualise happiness and situations that are going to help you to grow as a person. Train your mind to see the good in every situation. Look for positive viewpoint on a negative situation. What have you learnt from the negative situation? How are you going to apply this to the future?
When we maintain a positive attitude we experience happier feelings. A positive attitude can make us feel more confident. As put quite rightly by Roald Dahl ‘if you have good thoughts they will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely.’ Speak positively of yourself and others. Practice positive self- talk: I can do this! I will do this!
Your vibe attracts your tribe. Keep your circle positive. Surround yourself with people who bring out the best in you. Avoid negative people who are going to bring you down. Spread your positivity. Positive thinking is contagious. Something as simple as a smile can make another persons day.
